Eric M. Alfonso, 34

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Eric Michael Alfonso, 34, of Cheshire, Mass., died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2018.

He was born on October 2, 1983, in Pittsfield a son of John Alfonso of Cheshire and Roberta "Robin" (Daub) Alfonso of Adams. Eric attended both Cheshire Elementary School and Hoosac Valley High School.

Eric was a roofer by trade and was most recently employed by Skyline Roofing. Eric will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor and helping hand and loving heart.

Besides his parents, Eric is survived by a son, Austin Michael Alfonso of Adams; a brother, John Francis Alfonso of Adams; and several aunts, uncles and cousins

Funeral notice: Services for Eric will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Austin Alfonso Scholarship Fund.
