Melanie A. Bushey, 59

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Melanie A. (Daniels) Bushey, 59, of Adams, died on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in Adams on January 3, 1959, a daughter of Theresa (Les) Daniels and the late Louis Daniels. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the Hoosac Valley High School. She then went on to earn her Associates Degree in Computer Programming from Berkshire Community College, Pittsfield.
Mrs. Bushey worked as the computer programmer for the former Country Curtains in Lee for 20 years. She then worked part time for the Adams Council on Aging. Melanie loved animals, going for long walks with her dog and vacationing with her family.
Besides her mother of Adams, she is survived by her husband, Michael E. Bushey, whom she married on March 8, 1986; one daughter, Brenna Bushey of Adams; one sister, Susan Davenport of Adams; her Father-In-Law Edward Bushey and his wife Sandra and her Mother-in-Law Beverly Metivier and her husband Fran; her Brothers and Sisters-in-Law Steven and Michele Bushey, Joseph and Diane Cirullo and Stanley Bushey; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Daniels, who died on February 13, 2012.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will be private at a later date.
There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made directly to Brenna Bushey for her education through the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
