NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Susan Ann (Clairmont) Sherman, 62, of Sterling Drive in North Adams, died peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

She was born in North Adams on June 7, 1955, a daughter of the late Edward “Todd” and Gloria June (Coon) Clairmont. Susan attended local schools and was primarily a homemaker and a devoted mother, daughter, wife and grandmother.

Susan leaves her husband, Ronald Ernest Sherman, whom she married on April 3, 1982, in North Adams; her son, Jason Eric LeSure and his wife Sarah of Adams, Mass.; a daughter, Samantha Sue Sherman; daughter-in-law Frances Lesure; grandchildren Jessica, Alivia, David, Timothy Ashlyn and Madison; three sisters, including, Carol Clairmont, Bonnie Protz and Barbara Clairmont; three brothers, Robert Clairmont, Edward Clairmont Jr. and Thomas; and nieces and nephews. 

Susan was predeceased by her son, David Lesure Jr., who died in 2016; and her first husband, David Lesure who died in 1977.

Funeral notice: A service to celebrate the life of Susan Sherman will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will be on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to in her memory to the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals.
