PERU, Mass. — Martin Frusciente, 70, of 175 Middlefield Road, Peru, passed away March 2, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center.

He was born October 8, 1947 to Alice Pilson Frusciente and the late Martin Frusciente Sr. He was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School.

He married Virginia Alice Klein, who predeceased him on April 28, 2003. Martin was an oil burner technician and worked for Moody Energy, Whiting Energy and Mass Energy.

He leaves behind his daughter, Barbara Dewey and husband William of Pittsfield; son Martin Frusciente III of Peru; a brother Tony Frusciente and wife Marge of Peru; his mother Alice Frusciente of Peru; three grandchildren, Jacob and Joseph Frusciente and Vanessa Percel; nephews Christopher Lovern and Vincent Frusciente; and nieces Crystal Frusciente and Dawn Pelkey.

Funeral notice: Funeral services for Martin Frusciente will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018, at noon at Dery-Foley Funeral Home in Dalton. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martin's name to Friends of Renal Dialysis in care of the funeral home.
