Richard F. Snow, 78

SOUTH EGREMONT, Mass. — Richard F. Snow "Snowy," 78, died peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2018.

A lifelong resident of Great Barrington, Dick and beloved wife Jan resided in South Egremont for the past 25 years.

Born on August 14, 1939, in Great Barrington, he was the son of Harvey & Gertrude Snow. Dick was very involved in his community, where he was a member of the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Construct Inc., United Way and a board of director at Pittsfield Co-Operative Bank. He also served his country in the United Stated Army.

Besides his wife of 34 years, the former Jan Nyce Snow, Dick is survived by his adoring and adored stepdaughter, Kim Choquette of California; his stepson Joseph Choquette of Colorado; his three sisters, Joyce Schram, Jean Snow and Elaine Miller; two brothers, Ted and Bruce; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Warner and Marilyn Lewis; and many nieces and nephews. "Snowy" will be sorely missed by his many devoted friends and acquaintances.
