CHESHIRE, Mass. — Stephen Kilton Moser Sr., 70, of Oakboro, N.C., and formerly of Cheshire, Mass., died Monday, April 2, 2018, in Albemarle, N.C.

He was born in Adams, Mass., on October 25, 1947, son of Peter and Emma (Worth) Moser. He attended Adams schools. Stephen was last employed by Crescent Creamery. Before that, he worked at Hoosac Valley Coal & Grain for many years.  

Stephen enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and yard work. He moved to North Carolina six years ago.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Lynn Harris of Cheshire and Tonya L. Prior of Mount Gilead, N.C.; one son, Stephen K. Moser Jr. of Albemarle, N.C.; seven grandchildren, including Joshua, Johnnie, Branden, Amber, Brianna, Shelby and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren, including Keiara, Justin, Aurora and Tucker; one sister, Gail Bailey of Clarksburg; one brother, Louis Moser of Clarksburg; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Peter Moser and Paul Moser.

Funeral notice: The funeral for Stephen K. Moser Sr. will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will be later in Clarksburg Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, April 9, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
