READSBORO, Vt. — Brian Jason Lavanway, 40, of Readsboro, Vt., died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Albany Medical Center.

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on June 13, 1977, son of Harold B. Lavanway and the late Linda L. (Bushee) Lavanway. He attended Clarksburg schools and graduated from McCann Technical High School completing the machine technology program.

Brian was last employed by Cascade School Supply. He enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, baseball and basketball.

Survivors include his daughter, Taylor L. Lavanway of Stamford, Vt.; his father, Harold B. Lavanway of Readsboro, Vt.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Funeral notice: The funeral for Brian Lavanway will be Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery.  

A calling hour will be held Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home.
