Rodger W. Davis, 71

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Rodger Williams Davis, 71, of Williamstown, Mass., died Saturday June 2, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.

He was born in Peoria, Ill., on November 11, 1946, son of Howard Albert and Mary (Williams) Davis. He attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from the Buxton School. Rodger graduated from the University of Chicago.

Following his college education, Rodger worked in the VISTA program. He loved nature and history and was a talented artist, making drawings. He also enjoyed writing.

Survivors include two sisters, Ann L. Archambault of Philadelphia, Pa., and Margaret A. Davis of Moscow, Idaho; and two nieces and one nephew, including Leslie Wisocki of Moscow, Idaho, Bree Archambault of Philadelphia, Pa., and Bear Archambault of Onset, Mass.

Funeral notice: Services for Rodger Davis will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.

Just wanted to let you know how sorry we all were to hear of Roger's passing. He was a very nice man and we felt so bad that he had gotten so sick. Please take care....we are thinking of you
