SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Ralph H. Mills III passed away June 2, 2018, at the Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut.

Born on November 14, 1957, in Torrington, Conn., he was the son of the late Ralph and Phyllis LaQuire Mills. He was educated in Burlington schools and graduated from high school. Ralph worked for many years as a sales clerk for HOCON Industrial Gas, a welding supply company in Torrington, Conn.

“Ted,” as he was lovingly known as, was an avid golfer and enjoyed cooking. He adored his large extended family, especially Tracy and Charlotte and his girlfriend Beth.

Ralph is survived by his sister Nancy Stevenson of Cheshire, Conn.; his brother Gerald Mills of Winsted, Conn.; his nephews, Aaron & Eaven Stevenson, Gerald Mills Jr. and his great-nephew Noah Mincey and many cousins. He also leaves his girlfriend, Beth Anstett, and her parents Frank and Eileen Clarke of Sheffield, Mass. 

Funeral notice: The services for the late Ralph Mills will be held at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington on June 8, 2018, with calling hours from 10 a.m. to noon with a Memorial Service immediately following calling hours at noon, conducted by Rev. Rich Hayes. Burial will follow at the Sheffield Center Cemetery in Sheffield, Mass.
