Recollections & Sympathy For the Family
Post Comment
Condolences to Grant's family. He also worked at Dutch Hill mostly in the ski rental shop. He was a terrific guy and taught me a great deal about skiing equipment when I knew nothing. We tried and tried to install an old Marker rotomat heel complete with long thongs on my Northland skis when I first started in junior ski patrol. We couldn't seem to get the forward pressure correct to hold me into the skis especially when jumping on the Yankee and Sky Lark trails. I remember his little pick up truck and "Chinook" cap. To me, at that time, he was a very cool guy.
