Kenneth P. Morin, 77

CHESHIRE, Mass. - Kenneth Paul Morin, 77, of Cheshire, Mass., died Friday July 26, 2019, at his home.

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on July 19, 1942, son of Joseph Paul "Gus" Morin and Stefanie (Biscup) Morin. He attended Drury High School.

Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was last employed at Harriman-West Airport in North Adams. Before that he worked at General Electric in Pittsfield for over 20 years.

He was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. Ken enjoyed playing golf, softball and bowling.

His first wife was Joyce (Moon) Morin, who died on September 17, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Angie I. (Patten) Morin, whom he married on July 4, 1995; two daughters, Deborah Cardinal and Susan Gaskell of North Adams; one son, Joseph Morin, all of North Adams; three step-daughters, Karen Johnson, Kelly Morin and Karla Bassett; and several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Michael Morin; his stepdaughter, Kathy Orell; and two brothers and one sister, including Sandra Blanchard, Paul Morin and William Morin.

To the Morin family, it is with great sadness that we write this. Kenny was a great friend of ours for close to 40yrs. Kenny was our sons, Godfather. He was always there for you.
We had great times playing golf together and he could always make you laugh, no matter how bad a day you were having.

great athlete, good person, i grew up with kenny. he never hesitated to share his candy with his friends. two beautiful daughters, who know how lucky they were to have a first class dad. prayers to his wife and family. weve lost a real good man
