I've known Katie 33 years and the one particular memory, among many, was playing guitar for her and Brittany's singing duet!!! They were amazing!! Very bright and wonderful person!!

When my mom told me the news I did not want to believe it . Sometimes like takes us on different paths . We may be dealing with our own issues . Distance and time may pass but the love remains . I have tremendous guilt for allowing so much time to pass and not checking on people who I’ve known my whole life more . Iam sincerely apologetic. I grew up with Katie my whole life . From this little innocent quiet sweet girl the most wise one of all of us wise beyond her years . From talks on your heart shaped swings in your bedroom to summers , to one day I turned around and you were this beautiful young women with opinions and a voice of her own . We have shared many laughs many memories good and bad . Iam grateful for each of those . I never thought when I got stuck in north Adams with a broken ankle a few summers back and we all swam together I swam with Dillion and you were pregnant I never thought that would be the last time I would ever see you . That was a moment in time that is now a memory I will cherish forever . Your father was the first man to show me what a father was and many times took me in and treated me as his own . I couldn’t be around your mother for more then a few minutes without her feeding me . You were vibrant you were smart you were wise you had such a big heart . You were always my little sun and I always your sun with our matching bright red hair . Now you are my little star up above. Until I too become a star and we meet again . May you be free from any pain and internal battles . Watch over your boys . Crystal , Steve , bev Iam so sorry my heart hurts for all of you . Praying for you crystal always no matter what . From me my mom and brother deepest sympathies to all . We never know what god can do for us until we are forced to get lost and fall and await him to pick us back up .
