David Taylor, 57

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — David James Taylor, 57, of North Adams, Mass., died on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Berkshire Medical Center-North Adams.

He was born in Laconia, N.H., on March 3, 1963, a son of the late David Arthur and Jennie Mae (LaCroix) Taylor. He attended schools in Laconia.

David was employed at Stop & Shop in North Adams for many years. Before that, he worked at the Chef's Hat in Williamstown and Friendly's in North Adams.

David enjoyed camping and especially enjoyed taking care of his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Ozelek) Witherell Taylor; one son, David A. Taylor of North Adams; one stepdaughter, April Knapp and her husband, John, of Adams; three grandchildren-, Robert, Jason and Juliet; two sisters, Cindy Rogers and April Rogers; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one brother, Kelly.
