Anna Polchlopek

Anna E. Polchlopek, 89, of 12 Springside Ave. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on April 11, 1912, daughter of Michael and Julia Leskow Horbul, she attended local schools. A homemaker and a lifelong resident of Pittsfield, she was a member of the Retired Senior and Volunteer Program and a volunteer at Hillcrest Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander Polchlopek, who died in 1973. She leaves a sister, Olga Horbul of Pittsfield, with whom she made her home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at DWYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at Dwyer Funeral Home. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Elder Services of Berkshire County or the Visiting Nurse Association in care of Dwyer Funeral Home.
