Louise A. Dupras

Louise A. Dupras, 76, of 235 Prospect St., formerly of Adams, died yesterday at the home of her son, Richard A. Dupras of Lee. Born in Adams on April 30, 1925, daughter of Edward and Philomena LaMarre Bombardier, she attended the former Adams High School. She moved to Lee in 1984. In the early 1940s, she worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. in Adams. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, and a former member of Notre Dame Church and the Cartier Club, both of Adams. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling. Her husband, Donald E. Dupras, whom she married Aug. 7, 1943, died in 1981. Besides her son Richard, she leaves two other sons, Gary A. Dupras of Lee and Jack L. Dupras of Sunland, Calif.; a brother, Leo Bombardier of Cheshire, and 10 grandchildren. Another son, Robert D. Dupras, died in 1995. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to the Lee Regional Visiting Nurse Association or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
