Claudia 'Tia' Randall,63

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Claudia "Tia" Marie Randall, 63, of North Adams, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in her home surrounded by her closest family and friends.
Born in North Adams on Feb. 18, 1959, a daughter of the late James and Barbara Parent Randall, Claudia graduated from McCann Technical School and was employed as a store manager at Carr Hardware in North Adams for many years, a role that she took great pride in.
What's in a name? For this magnanimous woman, it was her identity. Claudia, Tia, Mom, Momma, Grandma with the horses, Grandma Dawson, Grandma Chicken, Grandma Tater, Grandmother, and Gram Cracker — her many names demonstrated how she embraced every facet of life's changes with love and devotion to her family and friends. Her love of horses, gardening and spending time outdoors fulfilled her days when she wasn't kicking ass, taking names, and making her employees scurry when they heard the jingling of her keys in the aisles of Carr Hardware. Her devotion to all that she was and had is the reason she left behind a legacy that will stand the test of time.
Claudia leaves her three beloved children, Rebecca Weslowski and Michael of Cheshire, Jennifer Racine (Brent) of North Adams, and Kimberly Racine (Chip) of Adams. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Michael Weslowski III, Austin Miner, Joshua Weslowski and Jackson Cook; a sister (with glowing eyes), Lynn Pinsonneault and Bernie of Pownal, Vt.; her big brother, James Randall and Julie, and little brother and confidant, Anthony Randall and Cheryl, all of North Adams, many loved nieces and nephews and her companion, David Thayer of Clarksburg.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A service to celebrate the life of Claudia Randall will be held Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
