Louise P. Daniels

Louise P. Daniels, 81, of 45 North St. died Monday at the home of her son, Stephen Daniels of 32 Monument Valley Road. Born in Shoreman, N.Y., on Jan. 23, 1921, she moved to Great Barrington as a child and graduated from Searles Middle School in 1939. She was employed as a nursing assistant at Great Barrington Health Care and Timberlyn Heights. Her husband, Peter S. Daniels, whom she married April 17, 1943, in St. Peter's Church, died Oct. 21, 1975. Besides her son, she leaves two other sons, John Daniels of Hartsville and Peter S. Daniels Jr. of Great Barrington and Stockbridge, and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Daniels, who died Nov. 29, 1970. Mrs. Daniels was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Sini, and two sisters, Mary DePaulma and Pauline Piredda. Private funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 31, at HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Anthony Jutt officiating at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
