Joan Dupras, 80

STAMFORD, Vt. —  Joan Ann Dupras, 80 of Stamford, VT died on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Springside Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Pittsfield, MA.

Joan was born in Albany, NY on June 9, 1942, a loving daughter of John and Emma (Rohane) Clarkson. She was a graduate of Drury High School. was the wife of William Edward Dupras whom she married December 1, 1962. William Dupras died on December 18, 2018.

Joan was last employed at BFAIR as a caregiver. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her children. She was an animal lover and greatly enjoyed her dog.

Joan will be greatly missed by her children; sons Daniel Dupras (Deon), John Dupras (Andrea), Steven Dupras and daughters; Laura Dupras, Christina Pringle (Mark) and Denise Vigna (Greg). She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and her sister Connie Walter.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday July 1, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA.
