Nancy Brown, 77

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Nancy Lynn (Schwarzer) Brown, 77, of Adams, MA passed away at Berkshire Medical Center on Friday, June 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a period of failing health.

Nancy grew up in Adams and graduated from Adams High School in 1962. After high school, she married and had two sons, Gary Novak and Todd Novak Sr. She worked for ALADCO in Adams for more than 40 years.

Nancy is pre-deceased by her husband, Alexander “Scotty” Brown; her father, George Schwarzer; her mother, Lillian (Tanguay) Schwarzer and by her stepson Scott Brown.

Nancy leaves behind her sister, Shirley (Schwarzer) Roberts of Pensicola, FL; brother, George Schwarzer and his wife Helen of Barre, VT; sons Gary Novak and his wife Carol of Palmer and Todd Novak Sr. and his fiancé Susan Bobka of Keene, NH; stepchildren, Richard Brown, David Brown and Diane Sowle; five grandchildren Todd Novak Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Adams; Brenna Novak and her partner Joshua Romeo of Cheshire; Michael Taber of North Adams, Erica Brazeau of Adams and Katie Dygon of Beacon Falls, CT. Nancy also leaves behind five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Friday, July 8th at 1:00 P.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Rev. Mary Frances Curns, Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
