Paul J. Dargie, 62
CHESHIRE, Mass. —
Paul J Dargie, 62, passed away on Saturday November 26th at his home in Cheshire, Ma. He was undoubtedly welcomed with open arms by his sister Kim Hiser, his brother Bobby Dargie, his son Nicholas Dargie, and his father Robert Dargie. He is survived by his mother, Helen Dargie, his Aunt Annie Farnam, his daughter Rachel and her husband Corey Ebbitt, his son Ross Dargie and his girlfriend Layne Dugger, his grandchildren Riley, Bailee, Beretta, Dexter, Autumn and Case. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Deborah and her boyfriend Gordon, Donna and her husband Bobby, Bonnie and her husband Andrew, Judy and her husband Jim, Daniel and his wife Sheila, and Tim. Paul has many nieces and nephews and many friends that were considered family to him. He also leaves behind his longtime companion, Heidi Bailey, her two children and his “puppers” Gabe.
If you knew Paul – you most definitely have a story or two to tell. He was one of a kind and a jack of all trades. If it had an engine he could work on it, if it needed to be welded, he could do it, if it needed to be built, give him a hammer and some nails and it would be done. He was an incredibly hard worker – right up until the day he passed. He was a proud Grandpa, and he will be missed beyond words. “I am because you were.”
A special “thank you” to the Cheshire Volunteer Emergency Medical Services for all you have done over the last year or so while his lung disease has progressed.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St, Adams. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
