Jennie Hogencamp

Jennie M. Hogencamp, 80, of 258 Washington Mountain Road died Thursday at home. Born in Lee on April 17, 1921, daughter of Robert and Elva Shreve Munson, she was a 1936 graduate of Lee High School. She also graduated from the former Berkshire Business College in 1938. After graduation, she worked as a secretary for Hurlbut Paper Co. until 1948. She was a secretary for the town of Lee in various departments from 1956 to 1970, then became employed with Coll East Co. in Williamstown until retiring in 1978. Her husband, C. Alfred Hogencamp, whom she married June 26, 1945, died July 27, 1991. She leaves a son, Robert W. Hogencamp of Lee, and two grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday morning at 10 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with the Rev. Canon Noel A. Bailey, rector of St. George's Episcopal Church in Lee, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 to 4.
