Sister Mary Paciorek

Sister Mary Virginelle Paciorek, 92, of the Felician Sisters, Enfield, Conn., a native of Adams, died yesterday at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Adams on Aug. 8, 1909, daughter of Frank and Agnes Wdowiak Paciorek, she attended St. Stanislaus Kostka Elementary School and the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams. She entered the Felician Sisters at the age of 16, and had been involved in religious life for 75 years. She taught elementary schools staffed by Felician Sisters throughout the Our Lady of the Angels Province. She leaves a brother, the Rev. Joseph Paciorek of Enfield. She was predeceased by four brothers, Paul Paciorek, Walter Paciorek, Peter Paciorek and Stanley Paciorek, and a sister, Monica Wojcik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 1315 Enfield St., Route 5, Enfield, Conn. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Enfield. Calling hours at Our Lady of the Angels Convent will be Thursday from 2 to 4:30 p.m., followed by the Rite of Transfer of the body to the Chapel at 4:30 p.m. for evening prayers. Memorial donations may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund, 1315 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082. BROWNE MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPELS, Enfield, Conn., is in charge of arrangements.
