C. Therese Boudreau

C. Therese Boudreau, 76, formerly of Backman Avenue, died Tuesday evening at Hillcrest Commons. Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 17, 1925, daughter of Arthur and Ellen A. Eagan Croughwell, she was a 1943 graduate of St. Joseph's Central High School. She worked with her husband, Joseph, who was the proprietor of Berkshire County Industrial Supply until their retirement in 1992. Earlier, she had been employed as an office clerk at the former Eaton Paper Co. A communicant of St. Mark's Church, Mrs. Boudreau was a member of its Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed birdwatching and walks along the beach in Plymouth. Her husband, Joseph L. Boudreau, whom she married June 12, 1948, died Sept. 11, 2000. She leaves a daughter, Susanne M. Harrington of Pittsfield; a son, Joseph L. Boudreau III of Worthington; and three grandsons. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary L. Plankey, and a brother, Arthur E. Croughwell Jr. Visitation and funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 15, at 8:15 from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Henry R. Dorsch, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marian Fathers in care of the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
