Gloria Senecal, 70

Gloria Estela (Batista) Senecal, 70 of North Adams died Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on March 27, 1954 in the Republic of Panama, Taboga Island. She was the daughter of Lilia Batista.

Gloria married Lawrence George Senecal on July 7, 1977 and moved to North Adams in 1980. She was employed for many years at the HeadStart Program in North Adams as a pre school teacher. She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams, where served as a Sunday school assistant teacher. Gloria loved spending time with her family, crocheting beautiful blankets and items and shopping.

Survivors include her husband Lawrence Senecal, daughters Tamara Senecal, Isabella Senecal, Elissa Senecal and grandchildren Alicia Woodson, Javoun Woodson and Marquis Woodson. She was predeceased by a daughter Angelica Bosquet.

A celebration of Gloria Senecal Life will take place on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams, MA. A gathering will follow in the All Saints Church Hall. Christmas won’t be the same without Gloria’s delicious meat pies. She was such a giving person who always had a smile on her face. May she rest in peace in the arms of Our Lord..

Larry so sorry to hear about your wife passing away. I send out my condolences to the whole family. i used to work with you when we were security at the airport. also worked at sullivan school and park police at fish pond. she will be missed alot. she was a wonderful person always had a smile on her face.
