David C. Walker

David Charles Walker, 33, of 55 High St. died Sunday at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, where he was airlifted earlier in the day following a brief illness. Born in North Adams on Sept. 15, 1968, son of Charles Ronald Walker and Linda Marie Mossolani, he was a 1987 graduate of Drury High School. Mr. Walker was employed with the North Adams Cemetery Department. He had previously worked at Central Radio Appliance and Furniture. Mr. Walker was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. He enjoyed music, concerts and politics. An avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees and the Boston Celtics, he participated in the Northern Berkshire Softball League, playing with Steepleview Realty of Adams. Besides his parents, of North Adams, he leaves a brother, Todd Michael Walker of North Adams. He was predeceased by a sister, Kristen Marie Walker, on Aug. 10, 1986. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 28, at 11 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 9:30 until 11. Flowers or donations may be made for the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
