Mary A. Robinson

Mary A. Robinson, 90, of 39 East St. on Highlawn Farm died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born on Highlawn Farm in Lee on May 18, 1911, daughter of Theodore and Winifred Connors Kotski, she was of the third generation of her family to be born on the farm. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Parochial School and Lee High School. She graduated from the former St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. After graduation, she joined the George and Marjorie Wilde family as a nurse for their children. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the St. Luke's Alumni Association and a Red Cross volunteer. In 1960 she married George T. Robinson, manager of the farm, and helped raise his two children. He died April 14, 1970. She leaves a son, William G. Robinson of Barre, Vt.; a daughter, Rosemary R. Schneyer of Stockbridge; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves her six Wilde children, Mary W. Carswell, George William Wilde, Lila W. Berle, Peter O. Wilde, Nancy W. Hahn and Alice W. Field. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Kotski, and a sister, Margaret Horrigan. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
