Kathryn Dandurand, 78

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kathryn Florence (Bartlett) Dandurand, 78 of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at North Adams Regional Hospital.
She was born in North Adams, MA on February 18, 1947, a daughter of the late John B. Bartlett Sr. and Theresa G. (LaMarre) Bartlett Filiault. She graduated in 1965 from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams.
Kathryn worked for 30 years before she retired from Steinerfilm in Williamstown. Prior to that, she had worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish.
Kathryn enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, cross stitch & baking. However, after retiring, Kathryn’s true joy was being a “Gaga” to her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond M. Dandurand Jr. whom she married on March 25, 1967 and one daughter, Diane M. Dandurand of North Adams and three sons, Raymond M. (Jennifer) Dandurand, III of Somers, CT; John R. (Sherry) Dandurand of Farmington, MN and Gerald R. Dandurand. She also leaves nine grandchildren including Lincoln Burdick, Veda Kathryn Burdick, Theodore Dandurand, Linus Dandurand, Milo Dandurand, John Dandurand, Jr., Ashley Dandurand, Bailey Dandurand, and Alyssa Dandurand; one sister, Geraldine A. (Philip) Brendese of Waterford, NY and one brother, John B. (Linda) Bartlett Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Rodney A. Bartlett who died on September 28, 2022.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kathryn Dandurand will be celebrated Friday February 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Burial will be in the spring in Clarksburg Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the church on Friday Feb 27th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
