Vincent A. Zoito Jr., 78

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Sergeant Vincent Arthur Zoito Jr., 78 of Henderson, Nevada formerly of Williamstown, MA died on March 3, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Vincent was born on April 6, 1947 in North Adams, MA a son of the late Vincent Arthur Zoito & Anna (Mierzejewski) Zoito. Vincent attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1967. In teenage years, he was the lead guitarist in the band “The Other Guys” which performed all over MA, NY, and VT. He earned his associates degree from Berkshire Community College. Vincent was a devoted Police Officer for the Town of Williamstown for 28 years until his retirement as a Sergeant on the force. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Syracuse Orangemen. Vincent was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church and enjoyed woodworking, crafts, furniture repair and traveling.

Vincent leaves his loving wife of 55 years, Marcia M. (Golka) Zoito whom he married on June 27th,1970, two sons, Jeremy A. Zoito of North Adams and Jason V. Zoito of Henderson, NV. He also leaves three grandchildren, Allison, Tessa and Olivia as well as a sister, Barbara Ann Leonovich of Longmeadow, MA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter in infancy, Leslie Ann Zoito.. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Physicians Choice Hospice especially Jennifer and Marquita.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Vincent A. Zoito Jr will be celebrated Saturday March 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Friday March 20th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Remembering all the BBQ’s you and Aunt Marcia had for like EVERY holiday! Having all friends and family over for basically a pool party! Those were fun times! Not to mention all of the times you got me out of speeding tickets when I was young and dumb! You were such a great guy! You will be sadly missed!
