NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Harold Marcus Crews Jr, 74 of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Sunday March 22, 2026.

Harold was born in North Adams on May 9, 1951 a son of the late Harold Marcus Crews & Margaret Lillian (Murphy). Harold loved going to the gym, fishing, and restoring classic cars. He could often be found at the park, spending time with his beloved dog, Bear. He was employed at Adams Print Works, BerkMatics, and Pierce Machine Company. Harold was last employed at Hillcrest Commons.

Harold was predeceased by his wife and soulmate Barbara Lee (Coope) Crews who died on June 1, 2016. He leaves his daughter, Carrieanne Crews of North Adams and son Harold Crews III of Adams. He also leaves three grandchildren, Mickailynne Crews, Jacob Crews, and Terra Crews as well as a great grandson, Patrick Crews – Hebel. He leaves his brother, William Crews (Sandra) of North Adams, and sister, Claudia Pasternak (David) of Adams. He was predeceased by his brothers Francis Perry (Janet), Carlton Perry and sisters Margaret Gardner (Charles), Carol Morgan (Roland), and Debora Atwell (William). He also leaves many nieces, nephews and his best friend Carl Davis of New Bern, NC who became a member of his family.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral to celebrate the life of Harold Marcus Crews Jr. will be on Monday March 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, MA. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home- CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Donations may be made to a charity of a donor’s choice.
