Stephanie Marie Morin, 7

ADAMS, Mass. —  April 24th 2026 Stephanie Marie Morin age 7, of Adams Ma was finally set free of her lifelong battle with Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus. Stephanie took her last breath at 9:15 pm at North Adams Regional Hospital with her Mommy and her big sissy right by her side. She was born in Springfield, MA. on December 26, 2018 a daughter of the Crystal Lynn Ames and the late Steven Michael Morin. Stephanie was a first grade student at Hoosac Valley Elementary School in Adams.

She loved spending time playing with her brother on the floor and watching Blue’s Clues. Stephanie absolutely lit up every room she went into. You caught a love for her the minute you met her. Her smile and her laugh were so contagious and although she could not speak, she always let you know what she was thinking with those eyes and those faces. Stephanie will truly be missed rolling down the halls of Hoosac with Tracy flailing her arms out and blocking every doorway entrance she encountered. Stephanie wasn’t dealt the best hand but her mommy sure knew her cards.

Stephanie fought her hardest through every battle and came out as a warrior. She will always be remembered with her big smile that lit up everyone’s lives. Survivors include her Mommy Crystal L Ames, her twin brother and protector Steven Michael Morin Jr. brother Michael Passier, sisters Athena Passier and Aleecia Richard (Logan). She also leaves her maternal grandmother Glory Whipple, paternal grandparents Kelly and Joseph Morin, maternal great grandparents Larry and Carmen Brendza, aunts Stephanie Ritcher (Hector), Katy Morin, great aunt Heidi Blake (John) and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by father Steven Morin and maternal grandfather Robert Whipple. As well as her family Stephanie leaves behind a very special friend, Tracy Therrien. Tracy was more than just her 1/1 at school. They had an unbreakable bond that just got stronger every year. The love they had for each other was like no other.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams, MA. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. are Friday May 1, 2026 from 5PM to 7PM. I had the pleasure of having Steph in Miss Martinelli's pre-k class last year, and you are not kidding about her expressions! Miss Tracy was absolutely her angel for sure! Their relationship reminds me of a story we read called "The Lion and the Little Red Bird." Rest easy sweetie.
Love Miss Tenczar
