ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Margaret A. (Stachura) Martin, 77, of Titusville, FL formerly a longtime resident of Adams, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home.

She was born in North Adams, MA on March 29, 1948, daughter of the late Theodore and Irene (Styczynski) Stachura. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School.

Before retiring she worked as a contracted seamstress for various retailers in the Adams/North Adams area. Earlier she worked at Waverly-Schumacher, and Hunter Outdoor Products.

She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, where she was active in many social functions held there, including being a participant in the Vigil to keep the church open.

Her passion was sewing, along with enjoyed numerous camping trips up and down the east coast from Canada to Florida. She also enjoyed long rides with her husband on their Harley trike.

She is survived by her husband Frank Martin, her daughter Darlene (Martin) Williamson and son-in-law Joel Williamson. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Doreen (Martin) Whelan.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 6th at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
