Ronald A. Buda, 44

FLORIDA, Mass. —

Ronald A. Buda, 44, of Florida, MA died unexpectedly on Friday, June 26, 2026 at his home. He was born in Pittsfield on November 5, 1981, son of Ronald Buda and the late Collette (Chouinard) Buda. He attended Adams schools and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the Class of 2000.

Ron spent his entire working career at Berkshire Outfitters in Adams, where he began working while still in high school. He loved 20-inch BMX bicycles when he began his career. He brought with him a tremendous amount of mechanical knowledge, which he had learned from this father Ronald “Mouse” Buda, a skilled master mechanic. He worked as a salesperson as well as a mechanic and repairman for all types of recreation equipment, including bicycles, canoes, and kayaks. He could work on a $5000 mountain bike one day, and help someone who was “down and out’ the next day at no charge in order to help them get to work.

He loved the outdoors and living on Florida Mountain with his previous dogs, Shadow, Chance, and Sierra and his current dog, Diesel. He was an avid fisherman with many trophies. His favorite Fishing Tournament, held in Lake Champlain, was The Father’s Day Derby. He won the derby one year with a “monster walleye!” Ronald loved country music, Yellowstone, and NASCAR. He travelled as “roadie” to Ohio, Kentucky, and Nashville with his friends.

To his friends he was simply known as “Buda”. He loved his friends and extended family very deeply. He was a faithful friend that would go out of his way, day or night, to help someone out.

He is survived by his father, Ronald Buda of Adams, his sister Danielle Buda of Concord, NC, his nephew Noah and niece Madeline, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Calling hours in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, will be Friday, July 3, from 2 until 4 PM. A graveside committal service will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 11th at 10:00 AM in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and friends are invited.
