Corey Girard, 27

Corey Michael Girard, 27, of North Adams, found peace on July 3, 2026.
Corey was born on February 1, 1999, at North Adams Regional Hospital. He attended Drury High School, graduating early with High Honors in June 2016. He continued his education at Berkshire Community College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Business. After spending several years in the restaurant industry, Corey began a career with UPS.
Though his time with us was far too short, it was rich with meaning and filled with the kind of love that transcends time. His spirit was truly infectious, and his presence could brighten any room, bringing joy to everyone around him. Naturally charismatic and full of boundless energy, Corey had a smile that could fill every corner of our hearts.
He found happiness in life's simple pleasures and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. He was “mama’s little meatball.” Corey had a deep appreciation for animals, art, music, fishing, basketball, Sunday family dinners, weekend trips to New York City, and watching sunsets with "his person." Above all else, he treasured the relationships he built with family and friends, leaving each of them with memories they will carry forever. Charming, quick-witted, intelligent and endlessly funny, Corey had a remarkable gift for making people laugh and making others feel seen, welcomed, and loved.
Corey leaves behind a large and loving family, including his mother, Jessie Little (David); his father, David Girard Jr. (Sherry); his brothers, David Siciliano (Josie) and Alex Girard; his sisters, Brittany Girard, Alana Justice, and Tesla Jacobs; his great-grandmother, Dolores Girard; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Giovanni, Salem, Wren, and Adrian. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were brighter because they knew him.
Corey was predeceased by his longtime partner and fiancée, Audrey Lynn McDonald. We find comfort in believing they are together again.
With great love comes great sadness, and our hearts are broken by Corey's passing. We are profoundly grateful for the immeasurable love he gave so freely and for the laughter, kindness, and light he brought into the lives of so many. His spirit will live on in every story shared, every sunset admired and every smile inspired by his memory. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Love, peace & chicken grease ~ CMG
