CHESHIRE, Mass. —  Elaine A. “Tootie” Littlejohn McAndrews, born in Pittsfield, MA, on March 7, 1956, passed away August 17, 2026, while visiting Bermuda, where she found her final peace.

Tootie grew up in Cheshire, MA, attended Cheshire Elementary School, and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1974. She went on to attend Stonehill College.

Tootie worked as an accountant and was also an entrepreneur. She had her own travel agency out of her home, combining her love of travel with helping others create their own adventures. She also started a copier parts company with her friend Paul Horbat out of his garage. What began as a small venture went on to become a successful and profitable company called Parts Drop.

Tootie was loved and admired by family, friends, and coworkers for her unconditional love, heart of gold, generosity, kindness, and quick wit. She lived life to the fullest, filling it with laughter, friendship, travel, and adventure. She was always ready for the next trip, a good meal, a great story, or simply a chance to have fun with the people she loved. She had a special way of making ordinary moments memorable and making everyone around her feel cared for.

She especially loved the simple pleasures of life—gathering with friends, enjoying a good meal, and sharing laughs. Some of her favorite memories were made playing Pitch, Yahtzee, and Scrabble on the beach with family. She certainly enjoyed testing her luck, whether it was winning a game with family or winning in a cruise ship casino. Her competitive spirit, quick wit, and love of a little friendly competition were always part of the fun. These were the moments that brought her happiness and created memories that will last a lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyance Jr. and Winifred Littlejohn, and sister JoAnn Abair.

She leaves behind her sister, Pam Chandler of Charlotte, NC; brother, Lyance Littlejohn III of Cheshire, MA; Mike McAndrews, whom she was with for 20 years; and her late-in-life companion, Robert Sutton, with whom she shared the last 30 years. She deeply loved nieces and nephews as she took great pride and joy in watching them grow, supporting them through every chapter of their lives, and standing beside them. She leaves behind nephews Jesse Littlejohn, Ryan Littlejohn, and Jody Culpepper; nieces Kelly Davis, Stella Powell, and Kaycie Trombley; and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Tootie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her laughter, kindness, generosity, adventurous spirit, and the many wonderful memories she created.

A celebration of her life will be held in Cheshire at the Rod and Gun Club at a later date.
