McCann Tech, Hoosac Valley Battle to a Draw

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Bella Lefevre stopped 27 shots Monday to backstop the McCann Tech girls soccer team to a 1-1 tie against Hoosac Valley.

 

Zoe Kratz scored for the Hornets with an assist from Lainey Ameen.

 

“We played well against a strong Hoosac squad,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said. “Bella and our defense were solid in the backfield. … We need to work on our offensive opportunities and we will get back on track with some wins.”

 

McCann Tech (1-3-1) hosts Ware on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (0-4-1) goes to Pioneer Valley on Wednesday.
