Arthur Eurbin, 85

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —
Arthur Ronald Eurbin was born June 23, 1941 to Louis William and Evelyn Jenny (Saunders) Eurbin. Art attended local schools, spent many hours at the First Baptist Church in North Adams playing on the youth basketball team and at the young age of 17 in 1958 enlisted in the US Army, being stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division which is a United States Army airborne infantry division that specializes in parachute assault, based in Fort Bragg, Upon an honorable discharge in 1963, Art served in the National Guard in North Adams.
Arthur worked as a draftsman at GE, eventually as a foreman. Then, as cable TV came to the Berkshires, Arthur, who could sell anybody anything started the local cable tv advertisement, birthday and local calendar on Channel 22. He maintained and secured advertising from local businesses to run the station. After several years Arthur got the call to move to Florida to escape the cold northern winters. There he worked in sales for many years at I.T.T. Tech.
In Florida he met and married his 2nd wife Elizabeth Eurbin on October 26th, 1998. They were just short of celebrating their 28th anniversary, this October. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Eurbin and Evelyn Eurbin Trottier, and siblings, Patricia King and William Eurbin. He is survived by and dearly missed by his wife, Elizabeth Eurbin, sister Nancy Hunt, children Joseph DeMayo, David Pacholke, Pedro Rivera, Luzaida Donovan, and Elena Santiago; grandchildren -Jack DeMayo, Dominick De Mayo, Aurora DeMayo, Arthur Pacholke, Kathleen Ramos, Alyssa Rodriguez, Kendra Rivera, Jordan Alicea, and Leah Santiago; great-grandchildren - Luna, Jaxon, and Zoey. Arthur also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and 3 great, great, great nephews.
Arthur will be buried by his mother in the Saunders lot at the Maple Street Cemetery in Adams, MA at a later date to be announced.
