Tina Louise Lapine, 61

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Tina Louise Lapine, 61, of North Adams, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, surrounded by her family.

Born on January 18, 1965, in North Adams, Tina was the daughter of the late Daniel R. Goodell, Sr. and Donna M. (Flagg) Goodell, of North Adams. She was the beloved wife of Charles T. Lapine, Jr., of Clarksburg, with whom she shared 37 years of blessed marriage, and mother of Cameron M. Lapine, of Concord, New Hampshire.

Tina was a graduate of Drury High School. She worked at several nursing homes, both locally and in Houston, Texas, before becoming deeply involved in her son’s early education including as the President of the Greylock Elementary School Parent-Teacher Group. She was later employed by Norm’s Airport and Limousine Service, North Adams Public Schools, Amedysis Home Health Care Services, and Surgimed. Tina was most recently employed as an optical professional at Advanced Eyecare in North Adams and was seeking licensure as an optician at the time of her passing.

Family was especially important to Tina. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles T. Lapine, Jr.; her son, Cameron M. Lapine; her mother, Donna M. Goodell; her brothers, Keith A. Goodell, of La Vernia, Texas, and Daniel R. Goodell, Jr., of Clarksburg; her sisters-in-law, Barbara (Estrada) Goodell, of La Vernia, Texas, and Kimberly (Moran) Goodell, of Clarksburg; her sister, April M. Goodell, of North Adams; her parents-in-law, Charles T. Lapine, Sr. and Sally A. (LaBombard) Lapine, of North Adams; and her brother-in-law, Eric M. Lapine and his wife, Jamie (Rinck) of Lincolnton, North Carolina. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, and great-uncles whom she loved.

In addition to her father, Daniel R. Goodell, Sr., Tina was predeceased by her infant brother, Bruce.

Those who knew and loved Tina will remember her for her kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to her family. Later in life, she became an avid painter and gardener and loved attending performances at local theaters. She treasured her time with family and friends and created many memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli West Chapel, 521 West Main Street, North Adams. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of North Adams, 131 Main Street, North Adams. Burial will take place at Southview Cemetery, North Adams at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tina's memory to PopCares. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to the many nurses, aides, and other staff who cared for her at Berkshire Medical Center, Baystate Medical Center, and Williamstown Commons.
