Victor G. Beaudin

PITTSFIELD, Mass. —

Victor G. Beaudin, 82, of Pittsfield, died at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

He was born in Adams MA on May 8, 1944, to the late Victor and Alma (Tremblay) Beaudin. He met his wife, the former Diana M. Levesque, when he started attending schools in Adams. They rode to school together every morning until they graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams. He went on to earn his bachelor’s in science degree from the former North Adams State College and his master’s in education from Westfield Sate College.

Victor and Diana married on February 18, 1983. Victor is survived by his loving wife and two daughters Maria Dearborn of Dalton, MA and Laura Beaudin of Cumberland, RI, his son-in-law Aaron Dearborn, three grandchildren Nathan, Alex, and Haley Dearborn all of Dalton, MA, grandpuppy Okemo, and many more cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Victor’s family was the most important part of this life. He and his wife enjoyed taking trips to the casino, going out to eat, car rides, ice cream dates, and watching movies together every night. He was a constant presence in his children’s lives. He coached his daughters’ softball and basketball teams and took them to the community pool each day in the summer. He never missed a play, dance recital, swim meet, cheerleading competition, or backyard talent show. Each year Victor and Diana would plan family vacations to Cape Cod, New Jersey, or Disney World. When his grandchildren came along, he relived his coaching days, coaching from the sidelines at each and every one of their sporting events, often attending multiple games in a single day. He enjoyed taking hikes in the woods with his family and grandpuppy Bromley, playing tennis with his brother Vincent and other friends, pickleball, gardening, and skiing which he taught his daughters at very early ages.

Mr. Beaudin was a beloved teacher for 39 years in the Pittsfield Public School System, having taught at Pomeroy Elementary School, Herberg Middle School and Crosby Elementary School until retiring. Everywhere he went, from the local mall and grocery store to the Jersey Shore and Disney World, Victor would run into former students and hear about how much he impacted their lives.

Victor was a communicant of St. Agnes Parish in Dalton, MA. He was predeceased by his brother Vincent Beaudin.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Agnes Church, Main St., Dalton. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 PM. at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.
