Josephine Harding

Josephine "Lorraine" Harding, 71, of 42 Isabell St. died Monday at home. Born in North Adams on Nov. 27, 1930, daughter of Joseph and Yvonne Devio Morandi, she attended North Adams schools. In her younger years, Mrs. Morandi was employed by Sprague Electric Co., and, most recently, with the probation office in North Adams for several years. She was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. She leaves four daughters, Robin J. Harding and Pamela L. Harding, both of North Adams, Kelly A. Harding of East Granby, Conn., and Tammy M. Schweitzer of Pittsfield; two sons, Wayne A. Harding of North Adams and William J. Harding Jr. of Slocomb, Ala.; a brother, William Morandi of North Adams; a sister, Katherine LaBrecque of Westfield; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for Shriners Children's Hospital or to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
