Paul G. Sullivan

Paul G. Sullivan, 88, of 1776 NE 26th St., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of East Center Street, died April 5 at Imperial Point Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Born in Watertown on Aug. 8, 1913, he graduated from Watertown High School. He moved to Lee in the mid-1930s. In 1936, he began working at the former Smith Paper Co., retiring as purchasing manager from Kimberly Clark Corp. in 1977. He moved to Florida in 1985. While in Lee, he was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member and former officer of the Greenock Country Club. His wife, the former Mary G. Tyer, died March 21, 1988. He leaves three grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Thomas J. Sullivan, who died Feb. 28, 1978, and John R. Sullivan, who died Oct. 11, 1998. The funeral will be Thursday, April 18, at 9:30 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Church. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30.
