James A. Walker

James Allen Walker, 58, of New Boston Nursing Home died Wednesday at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. He had resided at the nursing home since 1997. Born in Attalla, Ala., on June 7, 1943, son of Roy C. and Zella Ledbetter Walker, he was educated in schools there. Mr. Walker entered the Army in Houston in 1960 and served in the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1963. Services will be conducted Thursday, May 2, at 11 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Charles Van Ausdall. Burial will follow in Sandisfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
