John F. Anselmini

John F. Anselmini, 58, of 30 Fairview Terrace died yesterday at Fairview Hospital after a short illness. Born in Great Barrington on Sept. 23, 1943, son of Mario F. and Rosalie Costa Anselmini, he attended the former Searles High School. Mr. Anselmini was employed by Lee Lime Co. and the former Rising Paper Co. He was most recently employed as a laborer for Conrail. A sports fan, he was a member of the pitch league at the Risingdale CafÃ© for many years. He enjoyed raising vegetables and flowers in his gardens. He leaves his wife, the former Carol A. Eichstedt; a stepdaughter, Tabitha Krosi of Waterbury, Conn.; a brother, James J. Anselmini of South Egremont; a sister, Barbara Scarbro of Great Barrington, and a granddaughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary A. Spencer. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. William H. Wallis, pastor of St. Peter's Church, on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at Birches-Roy Funeral Home.
