Esther L. Wilson

Esther L. Wilson, 83, of 82 Fort Hill Ave. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on May 5, 1919, daughter of Angelo and Elvira Lenzi Bondi, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was employed as a secretary at General Electric Co. in the power transformer department for 41 years. She retired in 1984. Mrs. Wilson was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a member of the GE Pensioners' and Quarter Century clubs. She leaves her longtime companion, Joseph F. Donohue of Pittsfield, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, at 10:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. William Eckert, parochial vicar. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 to 7.
