Leonard Koscielniak, 62, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday at Countryside Mease Hospital in Safety Harbor, Fla. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 13, 1939, son of Stanley and Laura Sefcyk Koscielniak, he attended local schools. He moved to Arizona and then to Florida in 1983. Mr. Koscielniak owned a lawn maintenance/landscaping company, Leonard's Lawn Service, in Florida. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, Fla. He leaves his wife of 41 years, Glenda; a son, Mike Koscielniak of Clearwater; two daughters, Michele Williams of Colorado City, Texas, and Brandi Meloche of Palm Harbor; a brother, Bernie Koscielniak of Clearwater, and six grandchildren. A memorial service for Leonard Koscielniak will be held tomorrow, June 1, at 2 at Calvary Baptist Church, Clearwater, Fla. The family will receive friends at CURLEW HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, Palm Harbor, Fla., on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The family prefers that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
