Norma R. Aldrich

Norma R. Aldrich, 86, of Gloucester died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Norma Morhead of Lenox. Born in Springfield on Sept. 13, 1915, she was the daughter of Carlo and Maria Tosi Santoni. Mrs. Aldrich was a master seamstress and was known for her restoration of antique wedding gowns. She was a life member of St. Mary's Parish in Lee. Her husband, Frank J. Aldrich, died in 1959. Besides her daughter, she leaves another daughter, Linda Walcott of Gloucester; a son, Frank Aldrich of Pelham; three sisters, Leda Halkenhauser of Orleans, Flora Kensinger of Eastham and Rina Molloy of Rock Tavern, N.Y., and several grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Sauro Santoni. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church in Amherst. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Aldrich's memory to Hospice of Northampton or Gloucester. Arrangements are entrusted to the AMERICAN CREMATION SOCIETY Inc.
