Lina Elizabeth Drake

Lina Elizabeth Nason Drake, 83, of Columbia Arms, 65 Columbus Ave., died yesterday at home. Born in Dover, N.Y., on Sept. 5, 1918, daughter of Harry and Blanche Hufcut Winship, she graduated from Dover schools. A homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. Her husband, Lawrence A. Drake, whom she married in 1954, died in 1979. She leaves three sons, Woodrow W. Nason and Robert W. Nason, both of Hinsdale, and Raymond L. Drake of Peru; two daughters, Barbara A. Kemp of Hinsdale and Marilyn J. Boyle of Pittsfield; a brother, Arthur Winship of Pawling, N.Y.; a sister, Ruth Watts of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Drake may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield 01201.
