Robert F. Rodier

Robert F. Rodier, 89, of Silver Street died Thursday at his home. Born July 11, 1912, in West Springfield, son of Peter Henry and Luella Dorr Rodier, he attended schools in Vermont and graduated from Tilton High School. He went on to the University of Tennessee, where he earned a degree in botany. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Rodier served in the Army in the New Guinea campaign. He traveled extensively across the country. He leaves his sister, Dorothy Rodier Cleland of Chester, N.J., and a friend, Henry Doncaster of Great Barrington.
