Isolina L. Ranzoni

Isolina L. Ranzoni, 91, formerly of Marble Street, died yesterday morning at Laurel Lake Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Domaso, Italy, on Dec. 13, 1910, daughter of Louis and Maria Albonica Peverelli, she attended schools there. She emigrated to the United States at age 11 and attended schools in Pittsfield. Mrs. Ranzoni was employed by the former Glix-Brandt Co. in Pittsfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Lee Senior Citizens and Golden Agers. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting, traveling and playing cards. Her husband, John P. Ranzoni Sr., whom she married July 2, 1929, died in 1988. She leaves a son, John P. Ranzoni Jr. of Lee; two daughters, Rita R. Bartini of Lee and Rosemary R. Dellea of West Stockbridge; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Her great-grandson Andrew J. Bartini died in 1999. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be today from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Friends wishing may make donations to the Andrew J. Bartini Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
