Gladys Radlowski

Gladys M. Radlowski, 78, formerly of Loop Road, died yesterday at Craneville Place in Dalton, where she had resided for several years. Born in Savoy on Nov. 6, 1923, daughter of Clarence and Mildred Hathaway Whalen, she attended schools there. She was employed at the former Brightwater Paper Co. in Adams for several years. She retired many years ago. Her husband, John Radlowski, died Feb. 25, 1969. She leaves two sons, Bernard T. Radlowski and Edward N. Radlowski, both of Adams; a sister, Lillian Demastrie of Savoy; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Another son, James Radlowski, died in 1973. She was predeceased by two brothers, Earl Whalen and Charles Whalen. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
