M. Leslie Crampton

M. Leslie Crampton, 74, of Concord, N.H., died Aug. 9 at Concord Hospital in Concord. She was the mother of Dr. Lindsay G. Crampton of Lee. Born in Detroit on Nov. 9, 1927, daughter of Stuart Harris and Mary Russell Harris, she had resided in Andover, Marblehead and West Boxford, prior to moving to Concord two years ago. A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and was a member of the garden clubs of Andover, Marblehead and West Boxford. She also enjoyed panting, geneaology, and historical societies. Besides her daughter, she leaves her husband of 52 years, H. Jerome Crampton; three sons, Scott J. Crampton of Salem, Ore., Christopher S. Crampton of Tampa, Fl., and John D. Crampton of Concord; three brothers, David Harris of Bedford, Philip Harris of Chicago and Robert Harris of Harker Heights, Texas., and eight grandchildren.
